Great Dessert Recipes Using Gelatin Molds For Sale

Now that the weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter than usual, people are also currently on thew lookout for various ways to keep cool. Some crank up the air conditioning, some head out to the beach. Cold and frozen delights are also becoming increasingly popular. Everywhere one may look and see somebody sipping a cool cocktail, or slurping on a soda pop, or enjoying ice cream.

Probably the best way to stay cool is to enjoy frozen desserts. You can eat ice cram or slurp on a cool drink. You can also try new recipes using a new ingredient that can add more fun and color to your dessert. This ingredient is gelatin, commonly put in gelatin molds for sale.

It is derived from a by product of meat processing. It is a colorless, mostly flavorless thickening agent. It is used to give body to molded salads and desserts. Thought originally unflavored, there are now loads of flavored and sweetened varieties available in the market.

Try using it in this new recipe that will delight your family. To make a Seven Layer Salad, you must prepare seven packs of assorted jelly. You will also need frozen whipped cream, four cups an a half of both cold and boiling water, and a can of evaporated milk.

The first thing that should be done is to coat with cooking spray a 9 by 13 dish. Then, dissolve a flavor in three fourths of a cup of boiling water. Add the same measure of cold water once in has dissolved., you can now pour the cooked gelatin in the mold then leave it to set. Get a second package, cook it in one half of a cup of boiling water then add cold water. Pour this second layer on top of the first and let it set. You must repeat these until all the packages are consumed. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Another dessert recipe is the Broken Glass. For this you will need one and a half cups of crumbled graham crackers, half a cup each of sugar and melted butter, and a package each of strawberry, lime, and orange flavored jelly. You will also need an envelope of unflavored gelatin, one fourth cup cold water, a cup of pineapple juice, and a carton of thawed frozen whipped topping.

In a bowl, soften the unflavored variety for about five minutes. Then, boil the pineapple juice and add the unflavored one until it dissolves. Transfer the cooked jelly to another bowl and set aside. Dissolve the lime flavored one until half a cup of boiling water, same with the remaining flavors. Put it into molds, chill until firm, then cut into cubes.

You need to do the unflavored one first. Dissolve the unflavored version in boiling pineapple juice. Set aside in a big bowl to cool and set. Then dissolve each flavor individually in separate half a cup of boiling water. Once done, you can cut into cubes of your desired size. Fold all the jellies in whipped cream, pour onto the crust, then chill for about two hours.

There are a lot of ways to enjoy the perfect weather, and one of these is through eating. There are still a lot of gelatin recipes to try, you can even make one of your own. With a little creativity and the cutest molds, you can have pretty desserts in no time.
