Residents at 57th street all know the story about the mean Frenchman named Brazelle. He had stole another man's wife and then murdered the gentleman in cold blood. His first victim was named Albert Champion and he was a well liked fellow. Later on Brazelle killed his wife in a fit of rage.
After he had committed this horrible crime the woman's bodyguards threw him out the window. People have seen his spirit lurking around the building throughout the night. Residents can also hear violent arguments taking place within the penthouse apartment.
Many individuals are really frightened whenever they hear about The House of Death. Mark Twain once called this place his home years ago. Mr. Twain knew that there was a strange evil within this building but it did not stop him from staying. He was able to write some of his best work while living within this residence.
