Self help is
something many people struggle to do, as many people rely upon others to
sort out their problem or to blame other people as to why they are
having such a hard time.
Steps
-
1Knowing your problem in life could be causing you to feel an emotional wreck suffering from deep sadness, anger and so on. You need to identify that problem and address it. It may be that life is getting you down and people such as your parents are noticing and it's affecting them to see you sad. You could if your confident speak to them face to face or write them a letter explaining why you feel sad so that they understand. The task may feel daunting but as stupid as it sounds, people are not mind readers. They may see the emotions that you are giving off but they may not understand the why you feel like that.Ad

2Feel proud of yourself for telling someone your problem. Even if it's a small or big problem, you made the choice to help yourself by telling some one. This helps as it stops that emotion from affecting you in your every day life.
-
3Set a goal for yourself. Your goal can be as simple as getting up an hour early or helping some one or anything you want it to do.
-
4Look at the mirror and say to yourself what things you like about yourself. It could be your personality or how you look physically. Take time out to praise yourself and recognise your uniqueness.
-
5Speak with the person who has let you down or who you are blaming for something that is going wrong in your life, civilly and after careful consideration.Understand that there are two sides to a coin and that both of you may be feeling the same. This is where you need self-help and be strong and sort out your differences.Life passes by so quickly that you may regret not trying to sort things out with that person.
-
6Believe in yourself. The life you live is yours and it can be anything you make it. Life can be hard, but don't make it harder for yourself get out there and enjoy it. Believe that you can do things that you thought impossible. You may not be great at every single little thing, but simply having a go at something new, is a big step, such as joining a club, learning a new language, or trying to build (or cook) something. Just believe that you can. Don't live your life so cautiously that you don't live it at all. Remind yourself of that every day.
-
7Be thankful for what you have got, because there is someone out there that is worse off than you. It may be hard to think that for whatever problem you're having, but think of the people that have not eaten for days or the people who have lost every thing.
