Only Use Fully Certified International Air Freight Services

By Lelia Hall

Many businesses from all around the world will need to send time sensitive and high value packages frequently. This is when many will choose to use the International Air Freight Services available to them. They will guarantee that all deliveries will arrive at their destination right on time.

Many of the larger cargo airliners specifically build aircraft to carry their cargo. Others on the other hand prefer to use the older Boeing 707, 747 and the 727 as well as the Douglas DC-8 and the DC-10 to name a few. The Douglas DC-3 is still in use today and is capable of carrying both, cargo as well as passengers. This makes it a very versatile craft, one that has been proven over decades.

DHL is another very reliable service which has proven too many over the years to be very efficient. When sending anything via them they are able to give one a specific date and time that the delivery will be done. They can also offer their customers a GoGreen service and they can provide detailed carbon reports when needed.

When that is unavoidable they offer a climate neutral service by purchasing carbon credits in order to reduce emissions. They are also a part of the GHG Protocol for Products which is an international tool for both business leaders and government in understanding and overseeing greenhouse gas emissions. The goal of the GHG is to work with many industries as well as organisations to help build an accurate and useful reporting and accounting policy which will help to address the changing climate.

There is another way of ensuring that parcels etc. Will be delivered overseas and that is by ocean. The bigger articles that are generally done this way are vehicles as well as household goods. Many of the well known companies offer both these services but each one will have a different set of rules, regulations and implemented practises.

When deciding on which one to use it is best to take into consideration whether one is a business owner or an individual as well as what budget one has. Another very important factor to take into consideration is time. Air freight is of course much quicker then ocean but is quite expensive.

The safety of goods and the reliability is better when using air. Going over the ocean there is no guarantee that the goods will not be damaged due to rough seas and in the worst case scenario the ship could be lost or go down as a result of a storm. The chances of piracy in today's world are still a threat as well.

The Environment Control System which provides the air supply, thermal and cabin pressure control will need to be changed. The Avionics cooling, fire suppression and smoke detection will also be added at the same time. All accommodation will be fitted to ensure comfort for the crew during flight.
